EBONY + JULIAN

Ebony and Julian’s journey began when Ebony was just 14, working as a waitress at his family’s restaurant. Julian, then 16, caught her eye during a dinner he attended, and she couldn’t resist the urge to learn more about him. After some quick detective work, Ebony found out who he was and sent him a friend request on Facebook. From there, the rest is history.

Nearly a decade later, Julian proposed to Ebony at the Barwon Heads River, a place close to their hearts as it was where they had their very first date. On August 7, 2022, Julian asked the big question, and they began planning their wedding.

The planning process was smooth and enjoyable, made easier by having friends in the wedding industry. After visiting a few venues, they knew Clyde Park was the perfect location. Terry and the team at the venue made everything easy and stress-free, accommodating every request. Their photographer, videographer, and celebrant Ruth also helped bring their dream day to life.

With 60 of their closest family and friends in attendance, the couple celebrated their love in an intimate and heartfelt gathering. Ebony and Julian wanted the day to reflect their personalities and love story. They incorporated DIY elements into the décor, including personalised napkin holders with each guest’s name, which were a huge hit.
