Chris had grand plans for a proposal on their 5th anniversary but fate had other ideas. The engagement ring’s delayed arrival shifted the scene to a Christmas morning surprise in 2021, adding a touch of magic to the festive season. Surrounded by family, the couple celebrated this significant moment, turning disappointment into a heartwarming memory.
Navigating the intricate details of wedding planning, Jessica and Chris tackled the task methodically, prioritising and conquering each aspect with a strategy that avoided potential meltdowns —something Jessica humorously anticipated. The meticulous planning led them to the ideal venue at Provenance Wines, with Jessie Belle as their celebrant and Ashley K capturing the magical moments through the lens.
Their wedding, attended by 77 guests, reflected a timeless elegance in classic black and white. Jessica, deviating from her initial envisioning, stunned in a satin, strapless ball gown, while Chris embraced a beige linen jacket paired with cropped pants and suede loafers — a classic look with a modern twist.
The day itself was a tapestry of unforgettable moments. For Jessica, the surreal feeling of walking down the aisle stands out, a cinematic experience turned real.
