Kasey and Mitchell’s met in high school, but it wasn’t until their early twenties that they realised they were meant to be more than just friends. Fast forward to August 2022, and as their dream home was nearing completion, Mitchell knew it was the perfect moment to ask Kasey to be his wife. With rose petals and candles arranged in what is now their living room, he surprised her with a romantic proposal, just days before they left for a trip to Europe.

Their wedding took place at Provenance, a venue they fell in love with from the moment they saw it. The grand hall’s magical ambiance was the perfect setting for their ceremony. With the help of Candice from Provenance, Kasey and Mitchell selected vendors from a curated list that aligned perfectly with their vision. Their advice for keeping the planning process smooth and stress-free? Trusting suppliers who communicate well and genuinely care about making the day special.

For their winter wedding, Kasey and Mitchell welcomed 102 guests and opted for a natural aesthetic, allowing the venue’s stunning beauty to speak for itself. Warm pinks and oranges brightened the space, chosen to compliment the season and bring warmth to the day. The floral arrangements, inspired by previous weddings at Provenance, were simple yet elegant, enhanced by the soft glow of candles.

The wedding party was impeccably styled. The groomsmen wore black formal suits paired with black suspenders, terracotta bow ties, and R.M. Williams boots, matching the bridal party’s colour scheme. Mitchell, the groom, wore a similar ensemble, swapping the terracotta bow tie for black. The bridesmaids looked radiant in Shona Joy’s La Lune Cross Draped Maxi Dress in terracotta, complimented by fur coats for the chilly evening.

Kasey, the bride, was breathtaking in the Vivianna dress by Mariana Hardwick, accompanied by the Pierlot Veil by Grace Loves Lace and Harlo’s Chantelle Pearl shoes. She completed her look with a white fur coat for after the ceremony, exuding timeless elegance.

The emotional highlights of the day included Kasey’s grand entrance, which Mitchell described as unforgettable, and the moment she finally saw him at the altar, holding back happy tears. A special speech from Kasey’s little sister added to the day’s heartfelt moments.
