Justin and Paige’s wedding was a reflection of their easygoing, fun-loving personalities, rooted in simplicity but brimming with personal touches. They met while Paige was working in retail in Geelong, and after a playful exchange through Justin’s sister, they eventually connected over Facebook. The proposal, however, wasn’t quite the picturesque moment they had envisioned. On a glamping trip in Lorne, amidst rain, washed-out tracks, and a less-than-ideal campsite, Justin popped the question using a regifted “Desktop Buddy” whiteboard with the words “Will you marry me?” written across it. Despite the mishaps, the moment was pure joy and perfectly fitting for the couple.

The wedding planning came together seamlessly after they visited The Dunes for a work function and fell in love with its aesthetic. With clean lines, timber, black, and white accents, it aligned perfectly with their home style. They kept the décor simple, using candles, personalised signage, and elegant florals to soften the space. Erin at Florette had full creative control over the floral arrangements, and her choices of bright pops of blue and pink added the perfect contrast to the otherwise minimalist décor.

Their 100 wedding guests all arrived in the chosen colour scheme of greens, blues and neutral hues creating a cohesive vibe. The bridal party wore all-black outfits, with the groomsmen in black blazers and the bridesmaids in a modern twist on classic slip dresses. Paige’s green heels from Forever Heels matched Justin’s green velvet blazer, bringing their colour scheme to life in a subtle, stylish way.
